This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is a resin filled banksia pod with copper and resin spacers 

Medium sized, it is suited for a 180-210  Japanese knives.   

Weight: 48g  Length: 131.3 (5.25”)

Handle is sanded to 800 grit then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher or soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, nor sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer such as tru-oil as needed.
